Both parties are exploring additional collaboration within Hungary’s defence industry, such as local manufacturing, assembly, product support, as well as maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services. Rába Automotive, in which 4iG S&D recently secured a 74.34% majority stake, is expected to play a significant part in these activities. Plans under consideration include enabling 4iG S&D to participate in component and subsystem manufacturing for TATRA vehicles, production of complete vehicles, and new joint development and market initiatives both in Hungary and abroad.
