Venezuela's ousted leader Nicolás Maduro has pleaded not guilty to drugs charges, telling a US judge: “I am still president”.
Four counts were listed on the indictment, including narco-terrorism conspiracy and possession of machine guns and destructive devices.
The ousted leader and his wife Cilia Flores arrived at a New York court wearing prison uniforms, headphones for translation, and with their feet shackled.
