Hit Cosplay Anime 'My Dress-Up Darling' Sets Long-Awaited Season 2 Premiere Date
Marin and Gojo are finally getting back to crafting the finest cosplay after over three years away. The official accounts for the acclaimed rom-com anime My Dress-Up Darling announced that Season 2 will be hitting television screens in Japan on July 5, with Crunchyroll set to simulcast the series in the U.S. and beyond. Along with the date came an adorable new poster of the cosplay couple dressed to impress for their long-awaited return. Keisuke Shinohara will be back at the helm as director with animation studio CloverWorks producing the series once again.Based on the manga by Shinichi Fukuda, which just wrapped up in March, My Dress-Up Darling centers on Wakana Gojo, a student with a secret passion for creating traditional Japanese hina dolls that he keeps hidden from others out of fear of ridicule. However, everything changes when his popular classmate, Marin Kitagawa, learns about his craft and sees the amazing potential he holds.
