Mark Zuckerberg Spars with Merab Dvalishvili on Video After UFC Star's Loss to Yan
Mark Zuckerberg has established himself as a quality fighter over the last few years, and now he's taking on UFC stars. The Facebook co-founder recently sparred with Merab Dvalishvili and looked comfortable against the former UFC bantamweight champion. Dvalishvili was certainly in control during the fight, but Zuckerberg got a few punches off as well. Dvalishvili owned the UFC's bantamweight title just two weeks ago until he lost to Petr Yan at UFC 323, so it's no small feat for Zuckerberg to go up against him. It's far from the first time Zuckerberg has gone up against a professional fighter. Back in October, he sparred with Alex Pereira. He also trained with Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski in 2023. Over the summer, he even got an inviation from Dana White to participate in UFC's new Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu organization. "If Mark keeps training and competing and whatever, he could literally come here and fight in UFC BJJ, 100 percent," White said. "Tom Hardy, Mario Lopez, and many, many other actors that are really good jiu-jitsu guys that nobody knows about. That would be absolutely awesome."With the way he looked against Dvalishvili, it seems Zuckerberg wouldn't be out of place at a UFC event.
