The man who stopped one of the shooters in the Bondi Beach attack in Australia is being hailed as a hero as police have named the father and son who carried out the shooting. New footage obtained by Channel 4 News shows Ahmed al Ahmed tackling one of the shooters and wrestling a gun from his hands before getting shot himself. 15 people were killed and dozens injured when the shooters attacked an event marking the first day of Hanukkah. The attackers have been named as 50-year-old Sajid Akram and his 24-year-old son Naveed. The father died at the scene while his son is in critical condition in hospital. There is now a push to further tighten gun laws in Australia in response.
