Rob Brooks revealed his top picks on TikTok, featuring two European gems, one African getaway, and one American spot."I've seen a lot of people asking, 'Where is hot in January?', but the real question is, 'Where is hot and cheap this January?'" he began in his video clip. Rob went on to explain: "January is one of my favourite months to book a holiday because everyone is skint, everyone's cold, flights are quiet, and the prices in a lot of destinations drop to way lower than you would expect."The travel aficionado detailed how he had examined weather forecasts, booking information, and current prices to compile his list of "warm, good value" getaways for the upcoming month.MadeiraStarting his recommendations in reverse order, Rob highlighted Madeira - a Portuguese island group situated off Morocco's coast in the Atlantic Ocean. "It's not roasting, but it's that perfect warm and bright January weather," he noted."Nineteen to 20 degrees, loads of sunshine, and one of the most gorgeous coastlines in Europe."Rob referenced finding an online offer that is "pretty ridiculous" at just £330 per person for accommodation at the Aqua Natura Bay. "Flights from Dublin, with bed and breakfast - it doesn't get much cheaper than that," he commended.He further commented: "The hotel sits on natural lava pools - it's probably one of the most unique hotels on the island."TenerifeSecuring third place in Rob's recommendations is the popular destination of Tenerife - the largest of Spain's Canary Islands. "Honestly it could have been any of the Canaries, but Tenerife is my pick because it is generally really reliable for its weather in January," he elaborated.With temperatures hovering around 22 to 23 degrees, Rob emphasised that the island enjoys sunshine "every day", while highlighting a package deal at the Ramada Residences by Wyndham Costa Adeje. "Direct from Liverpool for seven nights, self-catering is just £260 per person," he declared.Rob also suggested: "The Costa Adeje is one of my favourite winter sun bases - it is sheltered, warm, and there's loads going on. With typical temperatures ranging from 24 to 27 degrees during the month, the travel expert enthused: "There's blue skies every day and water that's like a bath."Rob disclosed that he had found an all-inclusive seven-night package at the Xperience Saint George Homestay, departing from London Luton Airport, for a mere £225 per person."You do not get value like that anywhere else," he remarked. "For an all-inclusive hotel in Egypt in January that is insane."MiamiRob confessed that his top recommendation might be considered a "wildcard" choice, as he highlighted Miami, Florida, as an unexpectedly excellent and affordable destination to visit in January. "I know Miami doesn't scream 'cheap', but when you catch the right deal it can be unbelievable value here," he noted.The travel guru proceeded to highlight a deal he'd discovered for a seven-night stay at the Seaside All Suites Hotel, situated directly on Miami Beach. "It's room only, with indirect flights from London Heathrow, but it's only £605 per person and for Miami Beach in January - peak sunshine season - that's pretty nuts," Rob commented.He concluded his video by stating: "For your money you are getting 25 to 27 degrees heat, long beach days and a proper 'New Year, new me' main character holiday without spending a fortune."
