Kash Patel feuds with Democrat over ‘women’s size medium’ FBI jacket ‘cosplay’
Kash Patel has gotten into an internet feud with a Democratic congressman after a report claimed the FBI director would not get off the bureau’s plane without wearing a raid jacket from the bureau.According to the report compiled by current and former FBI agents and sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Patel would not disembark from the FBI plane following the assassination of Charlie Kirk “without an FBI raid jacket,” which he forgot to bring with him. While there were “many large and extra large FBI raid jackets available,” none of them fit Patel, according to a veteran FBI agent only identified in the report as Alpha 99.Finally, the report claimed, a female agent’s medium raid jacket was given to Patel, and while the jacket fit, the director was disappointed that the jacket was missing Velcro patches and “would not leave the aircraft until he had two patches to cover those areas.”Members of the FBI SWAT team then removed their patches to place them on Patel’s raid jacket, and the director got off the plane.Patel was mocked over the report by Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., who announced last week he is running for governor of California.“I don’t mind that FBI Director Kash Patel had to wear a women’s (size medium) jacket to cosplay as someone in charge,” Swalwell tweeted. “I just wish he’d focus on stopping the rampant domestic terrorism happening on his watch.”Patel responded with a tweet of his own, referencing a frequent MAGA attack against Swalwell involving a suspected Chinese spy involved in his congressional campaign. “I was looking for a Youth Large... Domestic terrorism arrests are UP 30% this year — impressive, considering I spent zero days dating a Chinese spy named Fang Fang, where should I send your women’s medium for date night?" the director tweeted. Christine Fang came into contact with Swalwell’s campaign as he was first running for Congress in 2012 and participated in fundraising for his 2014 campaign, according to the Associated Press.Federal investigators alerted Swalwell to their concerns and briefed Congress about Fang in 2015, at which point Swalwell says he cut off contact with her, the AP reported.During an appearance on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” Tuesday night, Patel reiterated the attack against Swalwell.“If Eric Swalwell wants to come online and talk about what jacket size I wear, I’m happy to send him a women’s medium so him and Fang Fang can go out again,” Patel told Laura Ingraham.
