DPWH confirms removal of 2 officials allegedly linked to contractors
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Wednesday confirmed the removal of two of its officials brought in by resigned Undersecretary Arrey Perez. This came after Batangas Rep. Leandro Leviste on the same day, reported that an assistant secretary and a Director IV brought in by Perez had been removed after the lawmaker previously claimed that multiple appointees in DPWH have links to contractors or are contractors.
