Trump pauses migration from ‘third world countries’ after shooting
President Trump has declared he would put a “permanent pause” on migration from what he called “third world countries” after the death of one of the two National Guard soldiers who were shot in Washington DC on Wednesday evening.
The Afghan man suspected of shooting them has been charged with first degree murder.
President Trump described the shooting as a “terrorist act” – and attacked President Biden’s decision to allow Afghans who had worked with US agencies into the country after the Taliban seized power.
