Kate Middleton's new rows over Prince Harry
Reports of mounting tension between Queen Camilla and the Princess of Wales have been circulating since early autumn, following a frosty interaction between the pair during Donald and Melania Trump’s state visit.
And earlier this month, heat reported that further strain had been placed on the relationship between Camilla, 78, and Kate, 43, amid the ongoing scandal involving Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.
Now, heat can reveal that Camilla and Kate are clashing over yet another issue – reconciliation with Prince Harry. As heat has reported, Kate has been a strong advocate for peace in the much-publicised feud between 41-year-old Prince Harry and the royal family, which all kicked off after he and wife Meghan Markle, 44, stepped down from royal duties in 2020. Insiders claim Kate has been urging Harry to return to the UK to build bridges with his family, while also encouraging Prince William, 43, to make amends with his brother – much to Camilla’s disapproval.
‘Her Majesty cannot believe that Kate is continuing to stick up for Harry after everything he’s said. She says it’s gone on far too long and needs to stop. She’s told Kate flat out that she’s being naïve and reckless,’ says our royal insider.

Revealing the extent of the tension between the Queen and her daughter-in-law, we’re told, ‘Kate’s been very patient and has been biting her tongue for much of this year over Camilla’s attitude towards her, but this Harry situation is making it a hundred times more tense.’
The Princess of Wales’ desire to welcome Harry – who lives in California with Meghan and their two children, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four – back into the royal fold, has also caused tension with her husband William.
The brothers’ relationship has broken down over recent years, despite them once being extremely close. However, William may be the least of Kate’s worries if her alleged feud with the Queen continues to intensify.
Camilla was said to be reeling after Kate and William were involved in the decisions over Andrew’s future – including him being evicted from Royal Lodge – and now, we’re told, this has intensified her resistance to the Sussexes being brought back into the family.

Camilla wants Charles to take a hard line like William. ‘Camilla wants nothing to do with Harry – she’s disgusted at the soft stance Charles has taken and fully supports William’s zero-tolerance policy of no forgiveness,’ our insider says.
The sources adds that Camilla is dreading the idea of having to see Harry when he next heads to the UK, though she will likely put aside her feelings for the sake of Charles, 77. However, we’re told Camilla has drawn the line at Kate’s continued involvement and has issues with the Princess’ reported communications with the Duke of Sussex.
‘What really irks the Queen is that she feels there shouldn’t be any peace talks at all – and there wouldn’t be if Kate hadn’t waded in to help forge a pathway for Harry to ingratiate himself with his father,’ says our insider.

‘Given everything Harry’s said, Camilla finds it ridiculous that Kate’s still even in contact with him. It’s insulting to her that Kate has continuously gone over her head to the King directly. She’s not been shy about telling people how aggrieved she feels, which has made its way back to Kate and she in turn has fired back.’
Thanks to Kate’s efforts, we’re told the King is beginning to soften towards Harry, meaning a reconciliation could be on the cards sooner rather than later. Harry met up with his father in September, marking the pair’s first face-to-face meeting in nearly two years.
Our source adds that Charles – who is receiving ongoing treatment for cancer – is at his wits’ end at this new feud breaking out. We’re told, ‘The King just wants everyone to get along, but the mere mention of Harry and Meghan seems to get people’s blood boiling.’
