The controversial influencer and former kickboxer has lost $800,000 trading cryptocurrencies on the decentralized exchange Hyperliquid, cryptocurrency intelligence platform Arkham said on Nov. 18 on X. “Andrew Tate deposited a total of $727K to Hyperliquid and as of today, has lost it all – without making a single withdrawal,” Arkham said. “He also claimed a total of $75K as referral rewards from traders using his reflink [referral link]. He has lost all of that trading as well.” Don't Miss: Tate’s Hyperliquid account became public in June. He accidentally disclosed it while bragging about an Ethereum position that was up 138% at the time. However, even then, it seemed apparent that he was on the fast lane to losing everything as his account was already $600,000 in the red. “I’ll make it all back with one trade,” he told a detractor at the time, which perhaps sums up his trading strategy. A look at some of Tate’s most recent trades shows back-to-back losses from seemingly trying to time the Bitcoin bottom amid the most recent crash. He opened several leveraged longs minutes apart, with notional values ranging from $20,000 to $200,000, in what appeared to be an all-or-nothing gamble that eventually left him with nothing. As recently as Nov. 20, the so-called “Top G” was still urging followers to join with promises of making money instantly. “Join today, make money today, buy crypto today,” he said. “Double your money next pump. SIMPLE. Double your fiat here.” Judging by Tate’s recent trading results, he may need the classes more than anyone.
