Senior appointment for leading Northern solicitors

Emma Pringle and Alan DouglasA leading Northern law firm has made a senior appointment to its team.Emma Pringle has joined Cartmell Shepherd’s wills, probate and inheritance department in Hexham as senior associate.Emma previously worked for respected law firms in Manchester and Newcastle and is a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the global professional body for experts in inheritance and succession planning.After qualifying as a solicitor in 2006, Emma moved to Manchester, spending five years as senior associate at Cheshire-based firm Gorvins. After a period working for a firm in Carlisle, Emma returned to Newcastle, holding a number of senior roles.Emma is also an active charity fundraiser, having completed the Great North Run on several occasions to raise funds for Parkinsons UK, a cause close to her heart due to her father’s diagnosis.Cartmell Shepherd Solicitors works with clients across Northumberland, Cumbria and nationally.
