I’ve lost a bit of weight!” However, once the video started circulating online, many viewers took to social media to slam the Queen for her lack of tact. One fan wrote, “Rich people love talking about people’s weight for some reason,” while another said, “Never comment on somebody’s weight gain or loss unless volunteered the information first. Etiquette 101. And she’s meant to be our Queen.” Yet another comment: “Really just shows her detachment from normal everyday conversation.” Yiiikes. For the record, this isn’t the first time the Queen and the actress have crossed paths (though, as many viewers noted, Camilla didn’t seem to recognize Ruth at first). Back in March, Ruth attended Camilla’s reception to mark the 15th anniversary of the Women of the World (WOW) Foundation at Buckingham Palace, where the two were photographed in conversation.
