For the past 87 years, it has been home to crazy characters and outrageous antics.So it is perhaps fitting that two of the biggest ‘stars’ in a special edition of the Beano are Donald Trump and his ‘buddy’ Elon Musk.‘Beanofied’ versions of the US President and Tesla tycoon feature in the comic’s look back at 2025, titled Beanofy Unwrapped.When Trump takes over Beanotown then blasts off into space with Musk and other famous faces, Beano regulars Dennis, Minnie and the Bash Street Kids are left to save the day.Mike Stirling, director of mischief at the Dundee-based comic, said: ‘All the bad, sad or boring bits (of 2025) are banished.’The comic remains the world’s longest-running weekly title - celebrating a remarkable 85 years in publication last year. US President Donald Trump and Tesla tycoon Elon Musk have been 'Beanofied' in the comic's lookback of 2025 Celebrity Traitors champion Alan Carr features on the front cover of Beanofy Unwrapped A Battle of the Bands erupts between Oasis (left), Taylor Swift (right) and ColdplayEuro-winning Lioness Chloe Kelly appears in the edition along with Chelsea star Cole Palmer, England goalkeeper Hannah Hampton and darts sensation Luke Littler.Elsewhere, a Battle of the Bands erupts between Oasis, Taylor Swift and Coldplay - three of 2025’s biggest touring acts - while Hollywood funnyman Jack Black finds himself pelted with popcorn during a ‘mutant chicken racing’ spectacle inspired by this summer’s viral Minecraft movie.More famous faces are also caricatured: Alan Carr and Cat Burns from The Celebrity Traitors, Katy Perry suited up for Blue Origin, and Wicked duo Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande wondering aloud whether they’re ‘holding space’ for anyone else on the moon.And this week’s front cover pulls together a chaotic cast of 2025 pop-culture heavyweights including President Trump, K-Pop Demon Hunters, Alan Carr, the viral ‘Italian brainrot’ craze and England rugby powerhouse Hannah Botterman.
