Young woman tragically found dead at city centre flat is named

Kadey AnglinA young woman who was tragically found dead at a flat in Manchester city centre has been named as Kadey Anglin.Emergency crews were called to an address on Grosvenor Street, off Oxford Road, in the early hours of last Thursday (October 16).A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said officers responded to reports of a concern for welfare.A 20-year-old woman was found unresponsive at the scene. She brought us so much joy every day to everyone’s lives just by being herself.“She was the funniest, craziest, coolest, most caring person that any of us will ever have the pleasure of knowing.”Three arrests were made at the flat last Thursday in connection with alleged drugs supply. All three people have been bailed while investigations continue.Ms Anglin was a member of staff at Gorilla in Manchester city centre, bosses confirmed. The flat where she sadly died is near to the bar's sister venue, The Deaf Institute.The Manchester Evening News understands the member of staff was not on shift at the time and the incident was not directly connected to either venue.Bosses at The Deaf Institute previously said in a statement: "We can confirm that in the early hours of Thursday morning a team member from our Gorilla venue tragically passed away in an apartment on Grosvenor Street."We do not have any detailed information as to what occurred at this time, and it would be inappropriate for us to comment further particularly whilst there is an ongoing police investigation."Naturally, we have reached out to Greater Manchester Police and informed them that we will assist in any way we can in terms of uncovering what has happened."Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of our deceased colleague at this very sad time."
