Israel warns it will resume military operations in Gaza if Hamas violates truce
Israel’s defence minister warned on Wednesday that fighting in Gaza will resume if Hamas fails to fully comply with a US-backed ceasefire deal, following the partial return of hostages' remains. The fragile truce has seen exchanges of hostages and prisoners, but disputes over unreturned bodies and humanitarian access continue to raise tensions.
