The Central Council of Jews in Germany is marking its 75th anniversary this year. Founded five years after the Holocaust ended, its mission is to speak for "Jews in Germany." Today, it represents the interests of over 100 Jewish communities, counting around 100,000 members, in politics, society, and Jewish organizations.
