It’s the third time this year he has been named in an Ireland match-day squad, yet he wasn’t well enough to feature in either previous game.Having been picked on the bench for the win over Wales last February, Prendergast was looking forward to what would have been his first Six Nations appearance until illness ruled him out on the morning of the game in Cardiff.
