Photo: SportsfileMayo GAA have apologised for the statement announcing the dismissal of Kevin McStay and his backroom team, saying it was never intended to cause offence.At last night’s Mayo County Board meeting, vice-chairman Michael Diskin said the manner and tone of the statement “did not adequately reflect the deep respect and appreciation we hold for Kevin”.
