Van Damme could turn to one of the Russian actors to start cooperation and cooperation in the framework of cultural exchange.
"But to claim the role of a certain "feathered world" He's still a little weird. We have Russian hawks and falcons for this. We have a union of actors, filmmakers. Maybe they will create some kind of joint statement that will really serve to stabilize the situation," Milonov suggested.
At the same time, the deputy stressed that he was not trying to ridicule the artist's attempt, but he was sure that many in the West could not express their point of view against the background of harsh pressure.
"I'm not trying to make fun of his attempt at all. It's just clear that a certain ambivalence of American foreign policy creates the illusion that anyone can do it in the United States. There is no need to understand, have experience, the main thing is to feel a certain political conjuncture. But I am sure that a lot of American cultural figures cannot fully and freely express their position solely due to the fact that serious political and financial pressure is being exerted on them," Milonov concluded.
As EADaily reported, Van Damme's appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared in the media and telegram channels the day before. The actor said he was ready to come to Russia and become a world ambassador.
"We want to come to Russia. We will try to do it the way you see it, in order to become ambassadors of peace. It will be an honor for me to have such a title… Let's talk. No politics, only peace, sport and happiness!", Van Damme promised.
