Paige Spiranac issues warning to fans in the wake of heartbreaking personal news

In the aftermath of a personal tragedy, Paige Spiranac had to take to social media to warn people of scammers pretending to be her to exploit those hoping to help.On Wednesday, Spiranac announced that Niko, her dog, sadly and suddenly passed away.Spiranac adopted Niko, an Australian Cattle Dog mix, back in 2017, according to a Facebook post. 'I loved you for your whole life and I'll miss you for the rest of mine,' the 31-year-old said on Twitter and on her Instagram story.But in the wake of that announcement, some particularly fiendish people are trying to scam people by pretending to collect money for Spiranac.The irate golf influencer took to social media to warn people of the racket. It's a scam. Please do not donate. Block and report. Thank you!' In the aftermath of Spiranac's announcement, a number of her friends and those who work in the sports and golf industry offered their condolences or memories of the pooch.'Niko was so unbelievably lucky to have you and your family. My heart breaks for you all.
