Paige Spiranac reveals heartbreaking personal news in emotional social-media post

Golf content creator Paige Spiranac has announced the tragic death of her dog, Niko, in a post on social media.The popular golf influencer made a post that was quite different from the content that she has been known to publish on Instagram, TikTok, and other social media websites.She posted an image of Niko, an Australian Cattle Dog mix, who she adopted back in 2017, according to a Facebook post. 'I loved you for your whole life and I'll miss you for the rest of mine,' the 31-year-old said on Twitter and on her Instagram story.A number of her friends and those who work in the sports and golf industry offered their condolences or memories of the pooch.'Niko was so unbelievably lucky to have you and your family. My heart breaks for you all. The worst pain in the world,' wrote TGL's Samantha Marks - who posted some images she had of the canine companion. It turns out a lot of people can.'That's how it started. I was just posting fun golf videos, and it really just turned into this.'Sprianac is passing on playing in the PGA Tour's upcoming Creator Classic event held at TPC Sawgrass the week of the Players Championship, saying her game wasn't up to par.
