It's a story which in general hasn't been very well-received by fans in the majority. The Jailer, which is the big bad of the expansion WoTLK Gold, has been retroactively connected to huge portions of the existing World of Warcraft lore dating all the way back up to World of Warcraft. The whole plan, which has been in place for millennia, is more than complicated, causing fans to refer to him as playing a games of 4D Chess that no one is able to comprehend.
Sylvanas and her storyline may be viewed as less than favourable. An old-school fan favorite however, her most recent appearance as a genocidal war criminal and the Jailer's second in command has left a bad taste the mouths of a lot of players. The issue that Sylvanas later betrayed the Jailer's position at the end of patch 9.1 with what appears to be a whim gave more than one or two players narrative whiplash. Why, all of a sudden, is this character who committed genocide, and has shown no guilt, now having a change in heart? It's unclear whether fans will receive an answer in a timely manner to that question, but the lead designer Maria Hamilton said that the story of Sylvanas as well as the overall storyline of Shadowlands, has long been developed at a higher level. More minor details will become more detailed as time passes.
"I believe that everyone ought to be happy," Hamilton said in regards to Sylvanas"story. "There will always be those who are not. It's a fine line to walk and we'll do our best. We aim to tell the best story we can , and make sure that the characters are properly represented and defined."
Patch 9.2 is scheduled to release at what appears to be an important point in the history of Blizzard's MMORPG that's been around for 18 years and company itself. Many of the long-held beliefs about what WoW will be changing which is evident in no other way than the coming ability for players from the Horde and Alliance to team together for activities like dungeons and raids for the first time. The feature won't be released in patch 9.2 and instead will be available as part of patch 9.2.5 The enthusiastic fan reaction to such an important change has been encouraging, Dawson said.
"We were hoping that people would see it in the same way that we did that it was an effort to encourage people together to play and have fun," Dawson said. "Play WoW the way you prefer, play the most premium content with buy WoTLK Gold your friends regardless of if they made the choice on the character selection screen to pick Horde as well as Alliance."
