Netanyahu OUSTED, Eisenkot New PM? Tel Aviv Erupts As Israeli Exit Polls Stun Ben-Gvir, Elate Arabs
Israel’s election has left the country facing an uncertain political future, with competing exit polls projecting a tight contest between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s allies and opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot’s bloc. Some projections gave the opposition a narrow lead, while others favoured Netanyahu’s camp. Arab-led parties were projected to win 17 or 18 seats, potentially influencing coalition negotiations. Meanwhile, far-right minister Itamar Ben Gvir voiced hopes for a far-right government as Yashar supporters celebrated the initial projections in Tel Aviv.
