One of murderer Christa Pike's lawyers has filed a declaration outlining a minute-by-minute accounting of her botched execution from his perspective. Randy Spivey filed the document as an exhibit in the case where Pike is challenging lethal injection as the method of execution to carry out her death sentence for the 1995 murder of Colleen Slemmer. The declaration includes details about what Spivey said Pike ate and drank that day, the attempts to find a vein and the appearance of a white rock during the procedure.
