Melania The PEACEMAKER? Trump Says First Lady Is Outdoing The Professionals In Ukraine Talks

Donald Trump has credited First Lady Melania Trump with helping advance efforts toward a ceasefire in Ukraine, joking that she was doing better than the professionals. Speaking in Florida on October 24, the president highlighted Melania's involvement in the diplomatic push as attention turned to a possible ceasefire expected on October 27. His remarks offered a glimpse into the first lady's reported role in the Ukraine discussions, while also taking a swipe at professional negotiators. The comments come as efforts continue to secure a halt to fighting in the Russia-Ukraine war.
