‘JOIN THE REVOLUTION!’: Trump ‘Wants’ Americans To Join France Riots; Promises $5,000 | Watch

US President Donald Trump has sparked a fresh political controversy with a pointed remark about France, telling Americans, “Or, perhaps, you’d love to go to France. Join the revolution,” before adding that he wants Americans to spend their money in the United States. The comments came as Trump promoted his proposed “Trump dividend” and urged voters to reject Democrats, whom he accused of planning tax hikes, weakening border security and damaging American farms and factories. Trump’s reference to France has raised questions about whether his “join the revolution” remark was a jab at the country’s political climate or simply a sarcastic aside in his appeal to keep American spending at home. His remarks also turned to the upcoming US election, with Trump delivering a series of attacks on the Democratic Party.
