Iran Drops DEADLY Shahed Drones On ‘U.S-Allied’ Kurdish Forces, HQ ‘Destroyed’ In Arab Nation

Iran has intensified its drone and missile attacks on Kurdish opposition groups based in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, with the latest strike targeting a base belonging to the Komala of Revolutionary Toilers of Iranian Kurdistan in Erbil province. The group said an explosive-laden Shahed drone struck its base in the Alana Valley, in the Balisan area, causing material damage but no casualties. The attack follows a series of Iranian strikes on Kurdish opposition positions, including those belonging to the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK). The escalation comes despite a March 2023 security agreement between Baghdad and Tehran aimed at disarming Iranian Kurdish opposition groups and relocating them away from the shared border.
