Kim Jong-Un Makes Surprise Appearance In China After Death Rumours Took Internet By Storm | WATCH

Kim Jong Un has reportedly entered China after days of speculation about the North Korean leader’s whereabouts and rumours about his fate. South Korea’s Yonhap news agency, citing an unidentified government source, reported that Kim crossed into China using the New Yalu River Bridge. Beijing has not formally confirmed the reported arrival. The route itself adds significance to the journey. The four-lane bridge connecting North Korea with China was completed in 2014 but remained largely unused for 12 years because supporting roads and customs infrastructure on the North Korean side were unfinished. It finally opened this month — and Kim is now reportedly among those using it. China remains North Korea’s dominant economic partner, while Pyongyang has simultaneously developed increasingly important military ties with Russia. If Seoul’s information is confirmed, Kim’s reported appearance would end days of speculation with a politically significant message: rather than disappearing from the regional stage, the North Korean leader has apparently travelled directly into the territory of Pyongyang’s most important economic partner.
