‘NO MORE PATRIOTS!’: NATO Nation Refuses Ukraine’s Missile Plea As Iran War Drains Stocks | Watch

Poland says it cannot provide Ukraine with additional Patriot interceptors as NATO faces growing pressure on its air-defence ammunition stocks. Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said the shortage worsened following attacks on Iran, with American demand increasing as Washington seeks to replenish its own inventories. Sikorski warned that Russia is producing more missiles than NATO currently has interceptors available to neutralise them, calling the imbalance “a real problem.” Ukraine is seeking 300 additional Patriot interceptors as Russian missile attacks intensify. But Warsaw says Poland is no longer among the NATO members capable of contributing missiles from existing stocks and can only urge other allies to help. The Netherlands has similarly said it exhausted its ability to provide additional Patriots from its own inventory. Years of transfers to Ukraine, increased American requirements following the Iran conflict and slow production of sophisticated interceptors are now colliding — leaving Kyiv’s supporters facing a basic problem: willingness to supply Ukraine does not necessarily mean missiles remain available to give.
