BREAKING: DEADLIEST Houthi Strike KILLS 50+ Saudi-Backed Troops; High Alert In MBS’ Riyadh
At least 53 soldiers were reportedly killed after Houthi ballistic missiles struck the al-Alam military camp in Yemen’s southern Shabwa province, marking one of the deadliest attacks since major fighting resumed. Two military officials from Yemen’s internationally recognised government said more than two dozen others were wounded in the strike on the Saudi-backed military position. Hours later, Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defence issued an alert through the National Early Warning Platform in Riyadh, giving residents instructions for potential emergencies. People were told to move immediately to the nearest safe location if warnings arrive, preferably inside a building and away from windows, and remain sheltered until the danger passes. The developments underline the widening confrontation. Saudi-backed forces are battling the Houthis inside Yemen while Saudi-led strikes target Houthi positions. The Houthis, meanwhile, continue using ballistic missiles against forces inside Yemen as the threat of long-range retaliation hangs over Saudi territory.
