Fresh speculation over Kim Jong Un’s health has revived memories of Donald Trump’s past remarks about the secretive North Korean leader.

Unverified reports circulating online now claim Kim may have suffered a serious medical emergency and could be receiving treatment in China. Those claims have not been independently confirmed, and North Korea has issued no public confirmation that Kim is in a coma.

The rumors come only days after Kim was publicly shown inspecting North Korea’s new Defence Revolution Museum, where Pyongyang displayed an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of reaching the United States. That appearance was reported on October 12, 2026.

Trump faced similar questions during an earlier wave of Kim health speculation in 2020. At the time, Trump said he had “a very good idea” about Kim’s condition but could not discuss it publicly, adding: “I just wish him well” and “I hope he’s fine.”
