HUGE! National Guard Trooper SHOT As Armed Suspect OPENS FIRE On US Soldiers In DC Gunfight

A US National Guard soldier was shot during a late-night confrontation near Eastern Market Metro station in Washington, DC. According to Metropolitan Police, seven or eight Guardsmen were monitoring a group when a fight broke out. As troops stepped in to intervene, an armed man allegedly opened fire, prompting three Guardsmen to shoot back. One Guardsman was struck in the leg, while the suspect suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Both were hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are investigating the incident, which comes nearly a year after a deadly November 2025 ambush on two National Guard members near the White House.
