Damaged storefronts, makeshift barricades and a fire burning in the street are also visible. The unrest led to 1,200 arrests across France and left 150 police officers and gendarmes injured, according to Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu. The Rhone prefecture reported at least 20 detentions in Lyon. The Interior Ministry put nationwide turnout at around 550,000, including 110,000 in Paris, while organisers estimated 800,000 participants, with more than 20,000 people taking to the streets in Lyon.
