‘IRGC ENTERS HOUTHI WAR?’ Iran’s Top Commanders Take WAR ROLES Against Arab Nation?

Iranian IRGC officers are reportedly operating close to Yemen’s front lines and helping Houthi forces identify targets and direct attacks against Saudi-backed forces, according to a Wall Street Journal investigation citing Saudi and Yemeni intelligence officials. The report describes Iranian personnel embedded across Houthi missile, drone, tunnel, logistics and targeting operations. It also alleges that Mahan Air flights sent to Sanaa in July carried IRGC personnel, drone components, missile-guidance systems and impact detonators alongside Houthi officials travelling to Iran. According to the Journal, Iranian advisers have helped improve coordination between drones, missiles and ground forces, including around the strategically important Bab al-Mandeb Strait. The report also links that assistance to increasingly sophisticated Houthi battlefield operations. Iran rejects the central allegation and says it “does not interfere in Yemeni affairs.” Tehran has publicly offered to mediate between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis, presenting itself instead as a potential diplomatic intermediary.
