Houthis BOMBARD 2 Ships After Pounding Saudi Military HQ In Stunning Red Sea Escalation | Watch
A second projectile strike off Saudi Arabia’s coast has raised fresh concerns over maritime security, with a tanker reportedly hit by an unknown projectile northeast of Al Jubail. The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said all crew members were safe and evacuated, with no environmental impact reported. Initial reports suggest the vessel may have been struck by an RPG fired from a small boat, although the weapon has not been officially confirmed.
Meanwhile, the Iran-backed Houthi group is putting growing pressure on Yemen’s government forces. Houthi missile attacks and territorial gains around Taiz in southwestern Yemen have disrupted key supply routes and threatened roads, ports and airports used to sustain government forces. The disruptions could complicate the government’s Dawn of Yemen offensive to recapture Houthi-held territory, although officials insist the operation will continue despite logistical challenges.
