California On Fire: Watch Americans Flee Homes As Wildfires Burn Orange County; Aircraft Deployed

American Firefighters battle fast-spreading Norte Fire as powerful winds fuelled flames across California's Orange County, forcing evacuations near San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano on Friday. Footage shows fierce flames burning through vegetation, with thick plumes of smoke rising into the sky as firefighting aircraft tackle the blaze from above. Fire engines are also seen gathering nearby, with smoke billowing in the distance. The wildfire broke out near San Clemente late Friday morning and spread across approximately 465 acres, with zero percent containment reported by the afternoon. At least six homes were damaged or destroyed, while one firefighter suffered heat exhaustion, according to local fire officials. Evacuation orders were issued for several neighbourhoods, with emergency shelters opened in both cities and nine schools in San Juan Capistrano closed.
