‘CHINA COULD CRUSH AMERICA!’: Hegseth Warns Xi’s Military Is ‘No Joke’; Breaks With Trump | Watch

Pete Hegseth has issued one of his starkest warnings yet about China’s military rise, describing Beijing as a near-peer adversary undergoing what he called potentially “the most historic military buildup” in world history.

Hegseth insisted that the warning was “not hyperbole” and said the global military balance could shift rapidly depending on who gains the technological and strategic advantage first.

The Defense Secretary warned: “Whoever’s ahead now is going to get much further ahead. Whoever’s behind now is going to fall even further behind.”
