HOR­MUZ NIGHTMARE! Two Vessels ‘BLOWN TO PIECES’ In Mystery Attacks; U.S. ‘Caught Off Guard’

Two commercial container ships have been hit by unknown projectiles in separate incidents in the Strait of Hormuz, raising fresh concerns over maritime security in one of the world's most critical shipping routes.

According to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), a 50,000-tonne container ship was struck while entering the strait, while a second vessel weighing around 19,000 tonnes was hit while exiting the waterway. Both ships sustained minor damage, reported no casualties and continued their journeys.
