‘HEGSETH TO BE FIRED NEXT?’: Trump Confronted Over Iran War BACKLASH; Thomas Massie CONFIRMS | Watch

Fresh speculation is swirling around Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth as Donald Trump faces mounting political pressure over the prolonged Iran war and its impact ahead of the November midterms.

A new report claims Trump is considering removing Hegseth after the election, potentially using a Pentagon shake-up to signal a change in direction as frustration grows over the conflict, rising fuel costs and Washington’s lack of a clear exit from the war.

Republican Congressman Thomas Massie added fuel to the story by pointing to a striking historical precedent: George W. Bush firing Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld immediately after Republicans suffered major losses in the 2006 midterms amid backlash over the Iraq War.
