Exclusive polling from Nanos Research reveals that Ottawa residents rank improving infrastructure to support growth ahead of affordability as the city's top housing priority. CTV's Josh Marano speaks with hospital physiotherapist Elizabeth Houlding and resident Megan Alliset, who say surging living costs have priced out full-time workers and forced renters to move back in with family. Longtime Barrhaven resident Kimberly Sandziuk notes that municipal arteries like Greenbank Road, Woodroffe Avenue and Prince of Wales Drive have failed to keep pace with population growth. The poll finds 39 per cent of respondents favour infrastructure investment and 35 per cent prioritize affordability, while only eight per cent cite building more homes as their primary concern.
