BREAKING: New Houthi Attack On Riyadh Airport Injures Passengers After Terminal HIT By Missile
Yemen’s Houthis say they carried out four major operations against Saudi aviation and energy infrastructure within 24 hours, claiming ballistic missile, cruise missile and drone attacks stretching from Riyadh to the kingdom’s Eastern Province. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said King Khalid International Airport was targeted in three phases, while separate operations struck Aramco’s Shiqdam gas facility, Tanajib oil facility and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. The claims have not all been independently verified. Saudi authorities separately confirmed fresh injuries at Riyadh airport after an unidentified projectile struck a passenger terminal and caused a fire. Saudi air defences also intercepted another missile nearby. The incident came a day after an attack on the same airport killed 12 people and injured 309. Saree warned that Houthi operations would continue “in an escalating manner” and again urged international airlines to avoid Saudi airports, while exempting Mecca and Medina.
