‘MAMDANI IS COMPLICIT!’: Trump’s DHS BLASTS NYC Mayor After ICE Shooting; New Oscar Bergal Bombshell

The Trump administration has launched a fierce attack on New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani after the ICE shooting of Oscar Bergal, accusing the mayor and New York’s sanctuary policies of making it harder for federal agents to remove people they say pose a public-safety threat.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin said Mamdani’s rhetoric was “dangerous” and claimed the mayor wanted federal authorities to release Bergal back onto the streets after he was wounded during the ICE operation. Mullin said President Donald Trump became personally involved and offered to release Bergal into NYPD custody if New York authorities wanted to pursue charges. Mamdani’s administration has sharply disputed the federal framing of the incident and condemned the shooting.
