Ukrainian drone attacks triggered major chaos in Moscow, forcing four aircraft belonging to Russia’s presidential Special Flight Squadron to circle over the capital as all four Moscow airports suspended flights. The disruption came as Vladimir Putin returned from a summit in Turkmenistan, raising questions about whether the Russian president’s travel plans were affected.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said Russian air defences shot down 15 Ukrainian drones. Meanwhile, more than 370 flights were reportedly delayed and 62 cancelled, leaving passengers stranded at airports across the Russian capital.
