Exclusive new polling from Nanos Research shows Mark Sutcliffe holding a commanding lead in the race for mayor ahead of election day on Oct. 26. CTV's Stefan Keyes reports that Sutcliffe sits at 48.6 per cent among decided voters, while Jeff Leiper trails at 31.2 per cent, Neil Saravanamuttoo at 11.8 per cent and Alex Lawson at 7.2 per cent. The poll finds Sutcliffe maintains strongholds in east, west and rural areas, while Leiper holds an advantage downtown. The poll also shows 23 per cent of voters are still undecided. The four leading candidates are scheduled to face off in a broadcast debate on Oct. 14 before advance voting begins on Oct. 16.
