Pro-Palestinian activists staged a silent funeral procession through central London on October 8, carrying symbolic coffins draped in Palestinian flags and stretchers to mourn Palestinians killed in Gaza.
The procession reached Downing Street, where demonstrators gathered for a candlelit vigil.
Protesters also criticised the British government's sanctions on Israeli settlers and settlement-linked organisations, describing the measures as token gestures that would do little to change conditions on the ground.
The demonstration came shortly after the third anniversary of the October 7, 2023 Hamas-led attacks on Israel, which killed around 1,200 people and saw 251 taken hostage.
More than 74,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's subsequent military campaign in Gaza, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.
