German journalist alleges torture in Syrian detention | DW News

German journalist Eva Maria Michelmann says she was tortured with electric shocks and witnessed severe abuse during five months in Syrian detention. She also accuses the authorities of trying to forcibly disappear her. DW reached out to the Syrian Embassy in Berlin about Michelmann's case but did not receive a response until today.
