San Francisco mayor says city ‘lost its way’ on progressive values

San Francisco’s mayor tells CNN's Dana Bash the city “lost its way” because it “got so entrapped in our progressive values.” He may be running one of the most liberal cities in America, but San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie says there’s nothing progressive about 810 people dying of overdoses, “there's nothing progressive about 30,000 car break-ins, and there's nothing progressive about small businesses having to shutter because they're a victim of crime over and over again.”

Mayor Lurie sits down with CNN's Dana Bash to explain what he's doing to turn his city around. Watch Inside Politics with Dana Bash weekdays at 12p ET on CNN. For more of this, subscribe to stream on the CNN app: https://cnn.it/4gQnBBi
