Delhi Building Collapse: At Least 4 Killed, Eight Injured As Recue Efforts Continue | WION Originals

The death toll has risen to four after a four-storey residential building collapsed near Idgah Machhli Mandi in Delhi’s New Seemapuri area on Thursday morning.

Three people, including two children, were initially declared dead, while eight others were rescued and taken to Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital in Tahirpur for treatment. One of the victims was a 12-year-old girl, while another was identified as 21-year-old Gulafsa, who was around four months pregnant.

Rescue operations continue at the site as multiple agencies search the debris for anyone who may still be trapped. Delhi Fire Services, Delhi Police, DDMA, MCD, CATS and NDRF teams are involved in the operation.
