‘MR PUTIN, STOP HIDING SECRETS!’: Marco Rubio Turns Up Heat Over Russia Plague After Trump’s Warning

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has increased pressure on Moscow to provide more information about the mysterious death of a laboratory worker at a plague research institute in Siberia, saying Russia should share more details with the world as Washington monitors the situation closely.

The scare began after a 28-year-old employee of the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Research Institute died from pneumonia of unknown origin. Around 200 people were initially quarantined or monitored, although Russian authorities say no plague cases have been detected among the woman’s contacts and insist there is no evidence of a laboratory accident.
